Holiday at Senggigi Beach Hotel

At first me and my wife did not think to stay at this one of the main 4 star hotel in the area of Senggigi, Lombok. But because when we visited the Senggigi beach, we always saw this hotel from the beach and it seems fun to stay at this hotel.

Finally in December 2009, we decided to stay at this hotel. The hotel has 3 types of rooms: Garden Room, Beachfront Room and Bungalows. We choose Beachfront Room type. because the view of this room is incredible.


Pleasant to stay in this hotel. Starting with a free cocktail on arrival to the friendliness of the staffs. And the most importantly, the Senggigi beach just a few steps from the room!

We spent a lot of time walking around the hotel area. Senggigi Beach Hotel area is huge, mostly consisting of manicured tropical gardens. We also stopped by at souvenir shop to buy some souvenirs.
In the night we went outside the hotel for dinner. It is not difficult to find a place to eat. In Senggigi area, there are many cafes, supermarkets and shops for purchasing daily needs and to eat. One of the most famous cafe in the Senggigi region is the Happy Cafe. The place was always full with foreign tourists.

If you want to take a look around Senggigi area, there are some Cidomo available in front of the hotel (Lombok traditional vehicle drawn by a horse) that can be rented, but me and my wife choose to walk around the Senggigi area. In addition not to pay for the Cidomo, if we find an interesting place or store, we can immediately enter it.

Time was quickly passed. We check out the hotel and continue the rest of our vacation. An exciting vacation in Lombok.

Liburan di Senggigi Beach Hotel

Pada awalnya saya dan isteri saya tidak terpikir untuk menginap di salah satu hotel bintang 4 di kawasan Senggigi, Lombok ini. Namun karena ketika kami berkunjung ke pantai Senggigi, kami selalu melihat hotel ini dari pantai dan sepertinya menyenangkan jika menginap di hotel ini.

Akhirnya pada bulan Desember 2009 lalu, kami memutuskan untuk menginap di hotel ini. Hotel ini memiliki 3 tipe kamar, Kamar view taman, Kamar view pantai dan Bungalow. Kami memilih menempati kamar tipe view pantai karena tipe ini pemandangannya langsung ke laut, amazing..

Menginap di hotel ini menyenangkan. Dimulai dengan cocktail gratis pada saat kedatangan sampai keramahan para staffnya, dan yang paling penting, pantai Senggigi hanya beberapa langkah dari kamar!

Kami menghabiskan waktu banyak untuk berkeliling area hotel. Hotel Senggigi Beach luas sekali, sebagian besar terdiri dari taman tropis yang terawat. Kami juga mampir ke salahsatu toko cenderamata untuk membeli beberapa cenderamata.

Malam hari kami keluar hotel untuk makan malam. Tidak sulit untuk menemukan tempat untuk makan. Di Senggigi ada banyak kafe, supermarket dan toko untuk membeli keperluan sehari-hari dan makan. Yang paling terkenal di kawasan Senggigi adalah Happy Cafe. Tempat itu selalu penuh dengan turis asing.

Bila ingin berkeliling kawasan Senggigi, di depan hotel tersedia cidomo (kendaraan tradisional Lombok yang ditarik oleh seekor kuda) yang dapat disewa, namun saya dan isteri lebih memilih berjalan kaki untuk berkeliling kawasan Senggigi. Selain tidak keluar biaya, bila kita menemukan tempat atau toko yang menarik, kita bisa langsung memasukinya.

Waktu terasa cepat berlalu. Kami check-out hotel dan meneruskan liburan kami yang lain. Liburan yang seru di Lombok.
